What causes neurodivergent burnout—and why isn't rest alone enough? Victor Wang shares his experience of severe autistic burnout, learning to recognize his limits, and rebuilding his life around what his body and brain can actually sustain. They explore burnout, masking, boundaries, internalized ableism, perfectionism, nervous system regulation, and why doing more self-care isn't always the answer.
Victor Wang is a gifted and late-diagnosed autistic from New Zealand and a former software engineer. Drawing on his experiences with skill regression and neurodivergent burnout, he creates resources and content to help neurodivergent adults better understand themselves, navigate burnout, and improve life satisfaction.
